SABISHA emerged from a desire to excavate the origins of Ami’s own photographic practice. What began as documentation of Friedberg’s work evolved into an exploration of identity and persona through the photographic act. SABISHA is a portrait and mirror; a meditation on photography itself while presenting an artist whose practice continues to influence and inspire.
