In Life in Progress, curator Hans Ulrich Obrist recounts the formative encounters and experiences that shaped his life in art. After a childhood accident and a long hospital stay, he began travelling across Europe to visit artists in their studios. From those early conversations to his first exhibition in a Zurich kitchen, this memoir celebrates curiosity, creative exchange and the transformative possibilities of art.
