Licked it so it’s mine is the first artist book by Iiris Riihimäki, bringing together paintings, sketches, found images and fragments from her studio. The publication follows the visual logic through which Riihimäki collects and transforms material from her surroundings.

Through juxtapositions between source material and finished works, images begin to shift in meaning and relation. Somewhere in between an artist book and an introduction to Riihimäki’s practice, Licked it so it’s mine offers an intimate view into a process of looking, collecting and making sense of the everyday. The book is accompanied by two text fragments written by Iiris.
