Flowers in the Front Seat is an intimate photographic archive of floral arrangements by Simone Gooch, the Australian florist behind Fjura. Photographed informally on an iPhone over more than a decade, bouquets of magnolias, gardenias, hydrangeas and violas appear buckled into car seats, balanced in cup holders or held by anonymous hands inside a delivery van.

Through repetitions, fleeting moments and imperfect compositions, the book celebrates the beauty of flowers in transit while paying tribute to the often overlooked labour of florists. It is Gooch’s second publication with Perimeter Editions, following Rosa (2021).
