Cahier Central is a multifaceted platform dedicated to promoting and distributing independent publications. The project aims at supporting underrepresented contemporary artists and narratives. The idea developed into an overall approach to the industry — guiding visual artists and writers from ideation and publishing to sales.

Cahier Central operates as a bookshop and distribution house located on the left bank of the river Seine — incidentally injecting a fresh perspective into Paris's historic bookshops quarter.

Since opening in 2021, the space has become an essential destination for carefully curated books, magazines and other printed objects — from fanzines to posters — with a strong emphasis on arts and design, ecology, contemporary feminism, or music. The bookshop also hosts events, allowing the publications to meet their audiences and fostering dialogue in an open and inclusive environment. ❦
