Visible Vehicle Repairs is the forty-second instalment in Hato Press’s zine series. Over several years, London-based artist Daniel Eatock photographed cars, vans and other vehicles whose damaged panels had been replaced with parts from donor vehicles. The resulting mismatched colours make the act of repair visible rather than hiding it.

With characteristic attention to the overlooked details of everyday life, Eatock presents a playful photographic collection celebrating resourcefulness, adaptation and the accidental aesthetics of repaired automobiles.
