Walking through the airport, I still couldn't quite believe I was going to London. And yet, I was. What surprised me over and over again was that it had been six years. It wasn't that I thought I couldn't go. It simply never occurred to me. Somehow, I had forgotten that I could. I wasn't unable to go. I just didn't. If I had wanted to, I could have gone anytime.

A diary of a month and a half spent in Europe, presented in Japanese, English, and French 📓⭐︎

Six years after leaving Europe, I returned and found myself stepping into a world beyond the boundaries I had drawn between what I could and couldn’t do. One after another, things I had never imagined—things that existed outside what I thought I knew, outside what I could imagine—began to happen. So many encounters came rushing in, one after another. I kept finding myself wondering: The possibility of this happening, of meeting this person—was it somewhere inside me? Or outside of me? Was it there all along? This is a record of the days when I came to know these possibilities through my body, and slowly learned to believe in them…☘️☆

空港を歩きながらそれでもまだロンドンに行くことが半分信じられない。でも本当に行くんだなと思いながらそれが6年ぶりであることに何度も驚く。行けないと思っていたわけではない。行くことを思いつかなかった。行けるということを忘れていた。行かなかっただけで、行きたいと思えば本当はいつでも行けた。

今年の2月から3月にロンドンとパリに滞在していたあいだに綴った日記をまとめたzineです📓4月に刊行した日本語版の1st editionに英語とフランス語を加え、デザインも新たに2nd edition🇬🇧🇫🇷6年ぶりのヨーロッパに飛び込んだとき、できる・できないと自分でわけていること、それにはさらに外側があると知った、自分のあたま・想像できることの中に入っていなかったことが次々と訪れる、めくるめく出会い、こんなことが起こる・出会える可能性がわたしの中に？外に？あったんだ、それをからだで知って、信じていく日々の記録です...🌿⭐︎

りささんの日記を読んだとき、いつからか「できない」と思い込んでいたわたしの心も一緒に連れだしてくれた。

おそるおそる外に出てみること、つたなくても自分のやりたいことを表現すること。自分の好きなものをまっすぐ見つめること。愛と思いやりをもって、目の前の人と相対すること。

そうすればせかいと、なにより自分自身とつながることができると思い出せるはず。ほんとうは知っていたことに、もういちど気付くための1ヶ月半の旅と生活の日記。
