Her words make me take photos of the liquid during a cold winter in the northern part of Europe.
Various worlds seen through glass. A gap between my eyes and the world.
Ambiguous, completely cut off, fragile and incomplete.

GLASS - YOKO ANDERSSON YAMANO
Craft-based glass-artist and a tableware designer based in Stockholm. MA Ceramic and Glass at Konstfack (University of Arts, Crafts and Design) in 2007. In 2023 and 2024 her project "Glass Tableware in Still Life" which stimulate the public to reflect on crafted glass tableware from various angles had been shown at several contemporary art museums in Japan such as Contemporary Art Museum, Kumamoto, Tokyo Opera City Art Gallery and Hiroshima Contemporary Art Museum.

Photographer based in Tokyo. Born in Kyoto Japan. Her activities are mainly for magazines and advertisements. First book is "mono" "mono ii". In 2024, she will hold a three-person exhibition titled "Courbe" with Korean and French artists at "KG+," a satellite event of the Kyoto International Photography Festival.
