Everlasting Plastics explores the profound and often contradictory ways plastics shape our bodies, environments, economies and everyday lives. Rather than arguing simply for or against the material, this collection of artworks, essays and research examines our toxic dependencies on plastics and the social and ecological futures they produce.

Developed from the exhibition at the United States Pavilion at the 2023 Venice Architecture Biennale, the book expands the project through newly commissioned writing, sketches and reflections. Artists include Xavi L. Aguirre, Simon Anton, Ang Li, Norman Teague and Lauren Yeager.
