Dia Art Foundation, New York, 1991. First edition. Hardcover, profusely illustrated.

Published on the occasion of Weiner’s exhibition at the Dia Center for the Arts, New York, Displacement brings together the artist’s text-based works, installation views and related material, with a text by Gary Garrels. The publication reflects Weiner’s distinctive approach to language as a material for art and the close relationship between his books and site-specific installations.
