SZA - JULY 2025

Interview has been on our favourites list for some time, for its design as much as its content. Launched in 1969 by Andy Warhol, the magazine, nicknamed ‘The Crystal Ball of Pop’, features interviews with celebrities, artists, musicians, and creative thinkers. Its trademark is the celebrity-interviews-celebrity Q&A, matched with brilliant full page photography, and in embracing this format the current creative team have taken it right back to its celebrity roots as an Instagramzine.

SZA goes ‘RAWR!’ on the cover of this latest issue, shot by Theo Liu and interviewed by Chappell Roan. Inside, Q&As with climber-influencer Dylan Efron (yes, brother to Zac) and the latest nepo baby in Kai Schreiber; Rachel Brosnahan by Amanda Seyfried; Frankie Grande by younger sister Ariana; Lena Dunham by Mel Ottenberg; Star Amerasu by Elliot Page; and David Harbour by Scarlett Johnasson. 

Elsewhere, food editor J Lee takes a trip to Ha’s Snack Bar on the Lower East Side, while the HAIM sisters play ‘fuck, marry, kill’ with Hannah Einbinder.
