"As an only child with a camera in hand, I had the power to hide in plain sight or fully engage with my solitude. I would focus my lens on flowers and stuffed animals, capturing their essence and finding a sense of connection in their quiet presence. Now, as an adult, I navigate the sprawling cities, and my lens continues to gravitate towards familiar subjects. The interplay of shadow and light, the beguiling dance of reflections in windows, and the delicate beauty of florals all captivate my attention. Perhaps, it is rooted in my longing for a simpler time, a yearning for my youth when I found solace and happiness in moments of solitude, endlessly entranced by the enchanting shapes that light and shadow create. They kept me company, providing comfort and a sanctuary of introspection. When I step back and look at what my memory allowed me to forget, I see that no matter where you go, there you are. These beautiful yet banal moments serve as reminders to pay attention, to be present, and to create deliberately."
